Adult horror with folkloric and Southern Gothic elements — dark, lyrical, place-driven fiction rooted in South Carolina.

FAITH

On a blackwater weekend in South Carolina, schoolteacher Tom Dancy goes overboard and wakes in the cabin of Faith, an ageless river-woman rooted in local lore. As dreams bleed into daylight and the woods empty, Faith begins to starve. Tom must choose whether to be her salvation or her next offering, at a price that will claim two lives.

FAITH is adult Southern Gothic horror with folkloric and psychological elements, set along South Carolina’s blackwater Edisto River.

Comps: Where the Crawdads Sing × The Fisherman, with the mood of Beautiful Creatures.

Current Work

Current projects include more dark Southern stories rooted in blackwater rivers, small towns, old secrets, and the haunted places people try, and fail, to leave behind.
